I tried not to spend a lot of time on rules, because I feel like we all know the basics and feel pretty much the same way about most things, but I think I failed. Sorry in advance. There is one thing you should know: some of these rules I’ll let slide a time or two, some I won’t. If you start disrespecting me or my character we're done. And if you keep bugging me, I’ll block you. Maybe that makes me an asshole, but I think most of what I’m asking of you is pretty easy to follow.
- No God-moding unless we’ve already discussed it or the roleplay absolutely calls for it. I’ve had people just start moving my character around and having them bring up topics and I’m like NO. Not happening. Go away.
- No Plain Janes or Mary Sues or Gary Stus or whatever the hell you wanna call them. No character is one dimensional. Not in real life. Not in books. Not in roleplaying.
- I’m not going to go all postal on you if you spell something wrong or forget a comma. I make mistakes too. Spell-check exists for a reason, though. If I feel like you put zero effort into a reply, that's just no fun.
- No one-liners. That’s where I draw the line. Sometimes I understand that the roleplay needs to come down to a paragraph, but for the most part my min. limit is two. As long as you give me something substantial to reply to, we should be okay. I should also warn you, sometimes my writing runs away from me. If you’re uncomfortable with 900+ word replies, then let me know and I’ll try to keep em shorter.
- I don’t demand that you reply every day or even every other day, a couple times a week (or month) is fine by me. If you DO reply every day, I’ll probably love you forever though. If you’re going to be busy or are going on vacation, let me know. I’ll try to do the same to you. Sometimes I get lost in my head with my work and I’ll completely forget that I have replies to get to. I’ve gotten better at letting people know, but I beg people not to bother me until it’s been five days. If it’s been five days, let me know. Calmly. I won’t yell at you, you won’t yell at me. We'll get along smashingly. ;)
- I do have one major rule. I do not put up with rl violence/negativity/hate. Arguments is one thing, everyone disagrees. But if you start hating on me/being rude because of something I believe in or like or the way I choose to live my life, we’re going to have problems. I try to live a judgment-free life. I’m not going to put up with judgemental people when it comes to something that’s supposed to be relaxing and fun.
- Because I am the kind of person who will up and leave if you’ve been ignoring my rules, taking too long to respond, or something like that, then I give you permission to do that same. BUT If I find out I don't have enough time on my plate to roleplay anymore or I’m getting bored of our roleplay, I will let you know, so I ask that you do the same.
- I do tend to be kind of goofy in OOC. I have a weird vocabulary and sometimes use chat lingo. So. Be warned. I love to plot out things, it helps with my inspiration. Ask me for my kik. I'll probably end up sending you random pictures/tumblr links that remind me of our characters, though, just fyi. So if you're not okay with that, then lemme know beforehand.
- I am over 18 so I ask that you be the same. I'm very uncomfortable roleplaying with people under 18. I also prefer no smut in characters under 18 unless we've heavily discussed it beforehand/it's not a romance plot.
